Frequently asked questions
Can't connect?
How do I get the free trial?
Sign up and verify your email to get a free 1-day, 10 GB trial automatically. One trial per new account.
How soon after paying can I connect?
Card and Alipay online payments activate automatically once the payment succeeds. USDT (TRC20) activates after blockchain confirmation and order matching; receipt time depends on network confirmation. An Alipay red packet gives you 1 day · 300 GB as soon as you submit its passcode; support verifies it between 08:00 and 24:00 Beijing time (usually within 10–15 minutes) and then switches you to your full plan.
What if I run out of data?
A data add-on tops up your current allowance without changing its expiry. An early renewal extends your membership, with its first data installment issued at your current expiry.
Do you log which websites I visit?
No. Nodes keep no access logs, so we cannot see the websites you visit or what you send, and the clients are open source. What we store, for how long and how to check it yourself is on the Transparency page. See the Transparency page
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Within 48 hours of purchase you can request a refund without giving a reason: open a ticket in the customer centre after signing in, or email support@aurel.work.
Troubleshooting
Which clients include smart routing?
Import the full subscription configuration in Clash/Mihomo, Stash, sing-box or Surge for direct connections to common mainland Chinese sites matched by the rules, with separate node selection for AI, YouTube, Netflix and Telegram. Configure routing in Shadowrocket, v2rayN and other clients yourself; importing only nodes does not include these rules.
The node list is empty
Make sure your plan is paid and active, then “Update subscription” in the app. If it says the download failed, turn the app’s proxy switch off and update again.
Connected but pages won’t load
Switch to another node, preferably a low-latency one. On a computer make sure “System proxy” is on; on a phone check for the VPN / key icon in the status bar.
Download is slow or fails
Try another network (for example switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data); if it still fails, tell us under “Customer service”.
New phone or computer
Just follow this page again on the new device and import the same subscription link — no need to buy again.
Setup guide
The Copy and Import buttons in these steps are on the Setup guide page after you sign in, next to your own subscription link. Open the setup guide
Windows PC · v2rayN
Recommended client We recommend v2rayN: no installer, just unzip and double-click.
New here? Just use this one and follow the steps below.
- Step 1Download v2rayN
Click the button below to download the zip file (about 160 MB).
- Step 2Unzip and open
Right-click the zip file → “Extract All”, open the extracted folder and double-click v2rayN.exe. If Windows warns about an unknown publisher, click “More info” → “Run anyway”.
- Step 3Copy your subscription link
Click “Copy” below and the link goes straight to your clipboard. It is personal to you — don’t share it.
- Step 4Add the subscription
In the v2rayN top menu choose “Subscription group” → “Subscription group settings” → “Add”, paste into the “Address (url)” field (Ctrl+V), name it Aurel and click “OK”.
- Step 5Update the subscription
Back on the main window click “Subscription group” → “Update all subscriptions (without proxy)”. After a few seconds all Aurel nodes appear in the list.
- Step 6Connect
At the bottom set “System proxy” to “Set system proxy”, pick a node in the list and press Enter to make it active. The tray icon turns red when connected.
- Step 7Check that it works
Open google.com or youtube.com in your browser. If it loads, you are connected. If not, try another node or click “Subscription group” → “Update all subscriptions”.
Other clients (optional)
- Clash Verge Rev
Simpler interface with automatic routing. After installing, paste the link on the “Profiles” page and click “Import”, pick a node on “Proxies” and turn on “System Proxy”.
- Hiddify
Open it, tap “+” → “Add from clipboard”.
Mac · Clash Verge Rev
Recommended client We recommend Clash Verge Rev: install, paste the link, done — with automatic routing.
New here? Just use this one and follow the steps below.
- Step 1Download the installer
先确认你的 Mac 芯片:点左上角 → 「关于本机」,写着 Apple M 开头的选「Apple 芯片」版本,写着 Intel 的选「Intel 芯片」版本。
- Step 2Install
Double-click the dmg and drag Clash Verge into Applications. If the first launch says the developer cannot be verified, go to “System Settings” → “Privacy & Security” and click “Open Anyway” at the bottom.
- Step 3Copy your subscription link
Click “Copy” below.
- Step 4Import subscription
Open Clash Verge, click “Profiles” on the left, paste the link into the box at the top and click “Import”. A card named Aurel appears — click it to select it.
- Step 5Pick a node and switch on
Click “Proxies” on the left and pick a node, then turn on “System Proxy” on the “Settings” page.
- Step 6Check that it works
If google.com loads, you are done. When nodes change later, click the refresh icon on the card in “Profiles”.
Other clients (optional)
- Hiddify
On macOS install Hiddify from the App Store (needs an Apple ID outside mainland China).
Android phone · v2rayNG
Recommended client We recommend v2rayNG: small, battery-friendly and supports one-tap import.
New here? Just use this one and follow the steps below.
- Step 1Download the apk
Open this page in your phone’s browser and tap the button below. If the browser warns the file “may be harmful”, choose “Download anyway”.
- Step 2Install
Open the apk when the download finishes. If Android says “Install unknown apps” is not allowed, tap “Settings”, allow it for this browser, then go back and continue.
- Step 3One-tap import
After installing, come back here and tap “Import” below — v2rayNG opens and adds the subscription. If nothing happens, tap “Copy”, then in v2rayNG tap “+” (top right) → “Import from clipboard”.
- Step 4Update the subscription
In v2rayNG tap “⋮” (top right) → “Update subscriptions”; the Aurel nodes appear in the list.
- Step 5Connect
Tap a node to select it, then tap the ▶ button at the bottom right. The first time Android asks for a connection request — tap “OK”. A key icon in the status bar means you are connected.
- Step 6Check that it works
Open google.com in your browser. If it doesn’t load, tap “⋮” → “Test all real connections” in the node list and pick the lowest-latency node.
Other clients (optional)
- NekoBox
Also supports one-tap import; good if you like groups and rules.
- Hiddify
The simplest interface: one button to connect.
iPhone / iPad · Shadowrocket
Recommended client On iPhone apps can only come from the App Store, so you need an Apple ID whose region is outside mainland China (for example the US).
New here? Just use this one and follow the steps below.
- Step 1Get a non-mainland Apple ID
Go to “Settings” → your name → “Media & Purchases” → sign out, then sign in to the App Store with a non-mainland Apple ID (this only switches the App Store, not iCloud). If you don’t have one, create a new ID at appleid.apple.com with the region set to United States.
- Step 2Install the app
Search the App Store for Shadowrocket (paid, about $2.99, one-time purchase). If you prefer a free app, install Hiddify or sing-box VT — the steps are the same.
- Step 3One-tap import
Come back here and tap “Import”; your phone asks to open Shadowrocket — tap “Open”, then “Add”. If nothing happens, tap “Copy”, then in Shadowrocket tap “+” (top right), choose type “Subscribe”, paste into the URL field and tap “Done”.
- Step 4Update the subscription
Pull down on the home screen to refresh, or swipe left on the subscription and tap “Update”; the nodes appear.
- Step 5Connect
Pick a node and turn on the “Connect” switch at the top. The first time iOS asks to add a VPN configuration — tap “Allow” and confirm with Face ID or your passcode. “VPN” in the status bar means you are connected.
- Step 6Check that it works
Open google.com in Safari. If it doesn’t load, tap “Connectivity test” on the home screen and switch to a low-latency node.
